Uniform coating with high penetration

Uniform coating with high penetration

The parylene technology permits the production of coatings over a wide range of thicknesses. The usual range of thickness is between 0.1μ to 100μ.
Controlling the thickness of the coating is possible thanks to the exclusivte coating processing − the parylene coating process is done using chemical vapor deposition (CVD) in a vacuum, that yields a coating with an almost absolutely uniform thickness (±5% of the thickness deposited).

Dependence of the characteristics on the coating thickness − thanks to the unique combination of the characteristics of the coating obtained, the parylene maintains the characteristics of inertness, adhesion, conformity, etc., almost independently of the thickness. Furthermore, the uniformity of the coating virtually does not change as a function of the thickness of the coating, and the usual tolerances of the values are 10%.
